Long time Philly guy. right? I don't like to choose sides between the long standing street crossing feud between cheesesteak shops Pat's or Geno's. I've never been a huge fan of either of them. They should be left to the uneducated tourist. Out in my neighborhood, it's definitely D'Allesandro's. In Center City, I've been a fan of Jim's on South since high school. Honestly, the body can't take much of this stuff anyway you cut it. But, every now and then, you just can't deny the power and draw of hot griddled meat and cheese or juicy spiced pork, sharp provolone and bitter broccoli rabe on a roll. That is my favorite.
